Being one of the co-founders of Proxyclick and believing I'd seen it all when it comes to client requests and wish lists, I was delighted to learn I was wrong.
You see, this year, we had a very special letter arrive by post. It was addressed to "Santa Proxyclick" and just too good not to share with you all on this Christmas Eve...

Dear Santa Proxyclick,
I imagine you’re somewhere in your workshop preparing restlessly for the big day.
Trust me. I know from my own job what it's like to have a lot on your plate at the end of the year.
So I'll keep this short and to the point like all good business professionals can.
Let's be real...people like you and I get to travel all the time, right? We attend all kinds of meeting wherever we go. You sit down with elves and reindeer and all contractors from all over the North Pole. Me? Everywhere south of that.
In fact, there are about 11 million face-to-face business meetings happening every day just in the US. What can I say? We have a knack for meetings, no matter how nice or naughty our agendas.
Now I don't know about you, but when it comes to actually going to a meeting there’s one thing that frustrates me to no end: There's too much wasted time in my visitor experience!
And don't even get me started on GDPR...
Honestly, front desk experiences shouldn't be so stressful.
We need to change that. So this is where you come in.
You've got to help more companies everywhere replace their paper logbook. They're not only outdated but they're full of security and compliance risks!
I know, I know...
Christmas is about new toys and tons of sweets for kids and new kitchen appliances and ugly sweaters for us adults, but all I want—more than anything—for Christmas this year is this: I wish to experience the perfect visitor journey.
I want that for you too. How many times have you walked into a toy production site or snow castle all ready to spread cheer, only to have to wait in a long line with everyone else? Then you realize the poor receptionist is seriously overwhelmed trying to attend to the Easter Bunny and Tooth Fairy, etc.?
What about that time you got to the building early only to end up being late for the actual meeting through no fault of your own?
Now, let me walk you through what a smooth visitor experience should look like.
That's right.
Quick, friendly, efficient, and secure—the marks of a great visitor experience. (Not to mention, GDPR-approved.)
So?!
Will you help those poor companies out there that with a flyer or a white paper in their Christmas stocking this year?
If you can promise me that then I'll keep my promise and stop rambling. You’re a busy man who makes lists and even checks them twice, and I really appreciate your taking the time to read my letter.
I wish you good luck with the whole Christmas venture.
Best regards,
A business professional who's been extremely nice this year!
