Roles & Responsibilities

You’ll have 3 main roles: leads qualification, inbound sales, and first line users support.

These three roles are naturally bound together and reinforce each other:

  • Naturally bound together: not only do most requests (leads enquiries and support requests) come from the same chat interface, but many requests are also a mix of qualification, inbound sales and support
  • Mutual reinforcement: product knowledge you gain in first-level support is a great asset in your qualification and inbound roles

Leads qualification

  • Constantly monitor Proxyclick chat interface (Intercom) for incoming lead and prospect activity
  • Always keep an eye on your email inbox for trial sign-ups, demo requests, contact forms…
  • Rigorously qualify incoming leads in a friendly and non-intrusive way, both online and on the phone
  • Contact via email or phone prospects which have shown interest in Proxyclick services
  • Understand and further qualify their needs, and if you are convinced that Proxyclick can add value to their organization, share your enthusiasm with them to make them become a customer
  • Conduct regular qualification calls with prospects
  • Assign larger and more complex sales opportunities to senior sales team members and keep medium opportunities for you (see below “Inbound Sales”). Your goal is to become the sales team guardian angel, filtering, prioritising and assigning incoming requests so that everyone can focus on what they do best

Inbound Sales

  • Manage sales pipeline for Medium opportunities
  • Manage your leads and sales using Hubspot CRM
  • Work closely with the senior sales team

First Level Support

  • While monitoring our chat interface you will also see support requests coming in
  • Your role will be to provide first level support (i.e. answer easy questions) via chat to customers and assign more technical requests to tech support
  • You’ll work very closely with the US and EU support team who will take their share of the requests

Requirements

  • You love interacting with customers all day, every day and helping them be successful
  • You have excellent communication skills (via chat, email and phone)
  • You’re able to explain topics in easy to understand and concise language [English]
  • You both love to work in teams and are reliable when completing tasks on your own
  • You know there is (almost) always a solution
  • Multitasking is a second nature, you are able to chat with a lead, answer a phone call and text a friend to plan your night out, all at the same time
  • You are at ease with technology, you are the type of person who is always testing new apps
  • You are very well organized with strong attention to detail. You routinely update your activity (log calls, make notes) and schedule follow-up tasks to ensure no leads fall through the cracks
  • You manage your pipeline efficiently and can report on its status weekly
